apexart is conducting an online auction of all works currently on view in the gallery. One hundred percent of the auction proceeds will be donated to
The Robin Hood Foundation, a charitable organization that funds and supports a wide range of innovative programs to fight poverty in New York City.
Below please find answers to commonly asked questions about the auction and auction website. If you have additional inquiries, please send an e-mail to info@apexart.org.
When does the auction end?
The auction website will stop accepting bids on August 10 at 6pm EDT. Bidding will end automatically and all bids entered as of that time will be considered final. If you are the winning bidder on a work, you will receive an e-mail notifcation shortly thereafter.
Can I come in to the gallery to bid?
We encourage those who are in the New York area to come and see the exhibition in person before bidding. All bids must be entered via the website, and there is a computer available in the gallery for this purpose. Bids cannot be accepted by phone, e-mail, or otherwise, and must be entered by the bidder on the website.
How can I correct an error on the auction website?
While we have worked hard to ensure the accuracy of all information on the auction website, the large number of works in this exhibition lends the possibility of cataloging errors. If you believe information about a work to be missing or incorrect, please send an e-mail to info@apexart.org.
Will you accept bids from outside the US?
Absolutely! Please see our shipping information page for international shipping rates.
What forms of payment will be accepted?
All major credit cards and PayPal will be accepted. Cash will be accepted for in-gallery pick-ups only. For more information on the end-of-auction process, click here.
What will happen to works that do not receive any bids?
At this point, all works have a minimum bid; consequently, all works will be acquired.
